Thursday 01 October, London: Capita and Trustmarque Ultima have signed a new three-year strategic partnership that will see the two businesses work together to pursue new opportunities and provide customers with a broader range of technology, AI, cloud and cybersecurity services.
The agreement brings together Capita’s experience in running and transforming complex services for major public and private sector organisations with Trustmarque Ultima’s specialist technology expertise.
By working together, the companies will be able to take new solutions to market jointly, combining their capabilities when bidding for work and giving existing customers easier access to expertise from across both businesses.
Capita brings the operational expertise. Capita runs large and complex services for organisations including Transport for London and the UK Health Security Agency, giving it experience of applying technology in real-world environments, at scale.
Trustmarque Ultima brings specialist technology expertise, with more than 1,000 technical specialists working across areas including cloud, cybersecurity, networking and managed services.
The partnership will be particularly valuable for organisations looking to move new technology from testing into day-to-day operations. Trustmarque Ultima can help integrate and secure the technology across a customer's IT environment, while Capita brings the people, processes and operational expertise needed to make it work effectively in a live service. That combination gives customers a more joined-up way to introduce AI and other technologies into their operations.
The partnership marks a new chapter in a long-standing relationship between the two organisations. Trustmarque was previously part of Capita before becoming an independent business following its sale in 2022. Since then, the companies have continued to work together, and the new agreement creates a formal intent to deepen that collaboration over the next three years with a deliberate, coordinated go to market model.
